I said this in a discord server a little while ago but it's too funny to leave there so

Behind The Scenes AU where everybody is an actor BUT they still live in the One Piece world. The show itself is a historical dramatization, based on real people and events that actually happened.

Mihawk's actor did the Steven John Ward thing where he was so determined for his swordsmanship to look both accurate and effortless that he commissioned a replica Yoruha to train with and wound up accidentally unlocking armament haki in the process. Zoro's actor, like Mackenyu, is a life-long action star who does his own stunts, so he already had armament on his resume, and the two get way too into their duel and end up almost breaking several cameras, the set, and also each other.

In an interview Whitebeard's actor is asked about the difficulties of being a half-giant on a set of mostly human costars, and the topic of Ace's attempts on Whitebeard's life comes up. Ace's actor is Hollywood's sweetheart for how polite and sweet and well-spoken he is, everybody thinks of him as their golden retriever cinnamon roll, so the interviewer is like "How did you do it? He's so much smaller than you and so well-loved. I mean, when the script told you to backhand him into the ocean, what did you do?"

And Whitebeard's actor goes "I backhanded him into the ocean. That was real. He broke two ribs and dislocated his elbow and then said he wanted to go again because I didn't hit him hard enough."

Like. The Princess Bride style "everyone was harmed in the making of this video" shenanigans where every single actor at some point got so over-enthusiastically into their role that they wound up injured. Luffy's actor has gotten so many concussions from headbutting things he was only supposed to pretend to headbutt. Garp's actor (also an action star, also has haki) was in fact throwing actual cannonballs but ASL+Koby and Helmeppo's actors are determined to make him look like a lame old man so they always say it was faked. The real life actual Flower-Flower fruit goes up on auction and Robin's actress dropped like a million dollars bidding on it. She won.

I saw your actors Au and it gave me the idea of the Guardian accidentally calling Cayde dad during a shoot, only to Become so flustered that they try and runoff. Cayde proceeds to chase after them.

i would say anyones Guardian would be camon in this AU so that could be legit xD

Director: ok we take five minute break then start again!

Cayde: welp. alright then! Guardian! we goin to get some food in ya! i know you havent eaten propely!

Guardian: *rolling their eyes as they take their helmet off* Whatever dad-

Cayde:

Cayde: did you just call me dad?? *excited*

Guardian: 😳😅 no- *backs away embarrased ready to run*

Cayde: oi- where are you goin?? *follow after with a grin*

Guardian: *Breaks into a run*

They amount of times I redid this is ridiculous, srsly why am I always my biggest enemy when drawing..

ANYWAY - I totally thiefed the idea of this from the wonderful awestriking fanart of BNHA from @meru90 also a user called Noodles-and-tea (i guess), and Zowoe-Draws. They all did that kind of Behind-the-scenes of the Anime-Cast AU idea, and I love it so much, I had to redo this for Kaiju No8. ever more so since the Anime is quite freshly out now.

So big kudos to you guys for the inspiration, i love your work <3

I though up some ideas for AU interview contents, and thought I might share it with you

Interviewer: thank's for your time guys, how're you feeling today? Kafka, Hoshina: Doing great, thank's! c: I: I'm so happy, you could make it! Also so refreshing to see you without gear and uniform for once! H: yeah, it's refreshing to actually SEE for once, you're right there :D I: *laughs* Seeing your eyes open so much is a first as well for me, haha. How's acting as Hoshina Soshiro for you like this everyday? H: ah, it's fine I guess. The look kinda suits me.. Also it is a big part of the characters personality. K: F'it wasn't for the migraine of yours all the time tho. You get that way too often. H: yeah, but it's fine, I'll manage. I: Oh my, sorry to hear that! H: No really, it's fine :3

I: I see you're quite different from the set as well, Kafka. I heard you're rather quiet and content off stage? K: *soft smile* yeah, I heard people say that about me too... H: He's such a dad tho, just like in the series :D K: *embarrassed tiny giggle* H: when the whole crew runs a havok, he's usually the one keeping everybody's sh*t together. :D

K: *annoyed grumble* and they run havok like.. a lot, I tell ya... -_- H: *giggle* remeber the time they crafted a whole cup of jell-o smoothie thingy and dared Mina to chuck it all in once? K: *traumatized war memories flashing* it was.... everywhere... If I could have just been a little faster with the bucket...before it all..came back... H: *cracks up* t'was hilarious! :D

I: So let's talk about your roles for a bit, shall we? You're fairly famous in the role of Hoshina already for example. H: he, thanks :3 I: One of the many reasons to that is your authentic acting during fighting scenes. The entrance into your first "real" hit the audience like a blast. Regarding to that - i was told you do a lot more of your stunts by yourself than the rest of the cast, is that right? H: Yes :) I guess on of the reasons I got the role is cause I do Kendo IRL as well, so I'm not a first timer when it comes to whielding swords. And I like it a lot, so may as well go a little Jacky Chan on stuff, I thought :D As long as the directors let me do it of course.. K: and very cool to look, might I add. Whenever they let him to the fighting scenes, I always end up watching, while he beats the sh*t out of - um - my (other) selfs in front of the camera. Very cool to watch I say. H: *annoyes* well yeah, you could just go and practice your own lines tho, instead of hanging around you know... K:* slow sip from coffee cup* ...no. c:

Yes... It's yet another Alternate Multiverse...

Say hi to Error and Ink! Or rather, Kan and Toku from my newest Alternate Multiverse, Behind The Scenes! It's still in the middle of development so I won't reveal much, but the basic idea is that Kan and Toku are the only people in the Multiverse who knows they are just fictional characters, and as the moment the Creators stopped watching them, they would literally stop existing, the two have to cooperate in order to make an interesting story to keep the attention of the Creators.

Except, the others have never known they are the unwilling actors in a stage of their own lives.

Actors/Behind the Scenes AU, in which FF16 is a duo/trilogy of movies, and the characters are actors in said movie -

Headcanons that inspired Peppermint and Chocolate Chip (aka, that one Actress!Benedikta fic).

Outside of FF16, Clive is a dork. A quiet but nice guy who likes games. He’s a fan of the FF franchise, and his fave is FF8. (Inspired by Ben Starr talking about his FF experiences. Also I'm projecting.)

Joshua’s two actors are totally attached at the hip. They’re not related but everyone is astounded at the resemblance, no wigs were needed even! And Adult!Joshua adores Kid!Joshua and protects his mini-me with his life. (I'm actually thinking of them both having Joshua as a middle name! Something like Andre Joshua and Allen Joshua. Btw, Adult!Joshua is Clive's actual brother.)

Jill is an indie pop singer. Sometimes busks. She loves everybody! She baked sugar cookies for the cast and crew once. She still burns the oven sometimes, though. Also she takes up kendo to improve her stage action scenes but tells no one of her rank because it’ll scare them (and they’ll make her teach everyone else on set, and that’s a pain). Her favorite FF is 10...... 2.

Benedikta is actually an awkward bean. She IS the hottest thing right now, an it-girl if you will. But she IS an awkward bean off-set, and reality shows exploit this for all they can. Oh, and she’s a big eater. -> This is what became the actual Benna fic

Hugo’s a comedian, actually. He’s also an amazing cook. He and Benedikta get along well. They’re cool besties. He often invites her to his YouTube channel to cook for her.

Barnabas Tharmr: A-list actor. Everyone’s beloved leading man. Very versatile, hot, in-demand. He’s perfect, oh, and he sings too. Confusing af love life. -> Referenced in the Benna fic

Dion’s probably following in Barnabas’ footsteps career-wise. That recent boy-next-door role he played had all the teenage girls want him as a boyfriend. They don’t know that he takes cues from real-life experience, and a real-life boy-next-door that captured his heart. 👀

Oh, Cidolfus Telamon: where to begin? Also another A-list actor, like Barnabas. Action films are his specialty, although you also see him in heavy dramas. All his works are guaranteed hits, no questions asked. His relationship with Barnabas, although professional, currently leaves much to be desired. Rumors abound that he used to have a thing with Benedikta, although both sides deny it. Also The Original Troll on set. He's fun to have on talk shows, but that's only when he feels like showing up.

Terence is Dion's best friend from theater. The original boy-next-door, and Dion's real-life partner. Knows just enough pop culture to get by, so he doesn't understand how he got this role, but if anything good comes out of this it's getting to work alongside Dion again. Greagor knows how long ago their last production together was ever since his love shot to fame on TV/Film. (Oh, if only he knew who suggested him to the director, because "he's good at his craft." 👀)

Sleipnir's that one cocky archetype co-actor you usually see in these kinds of cast ensembles. He's actually nice, though! Just innocently insensitive at times. Terence hates him with a passion, but Sleipnir likes to believe they're Vitriolic Best Buds. (And they actually are. Dion agrees but doesn't dare say it to his bf's face.) He's a horrible troll, just like Cid.

Jote's an adorable Tonberry rookie actress! She briefly had ensemble/swing stints in another theater troupe (Adult!Joshua's, actually), before landing this role. She loves posting pictures of sunflowers. Laments her dark clothes. Looks up to Benedikta despite their only scene together being a violent one. -> Referenced in the Benna fic.

There MAY be a part 2 of these headcanons. If I feel inspired, maybe even an actual fic featuring another character in the same vein as the Benedikta one. Will probably make it an AO3 series when that happens!

LoZ behind the scenes au

Legend: there are quite a few twin pairs that work on Zelda, and quite a few siblings as well.

Interviewer: can you give us some examples?

Legend: Ravio's actor and I are twins. Warrior's actor and Wild's actor are brother. Wild and Wind's actors are actually the same person. The whole Ocarina of Time trio are brothers. Dark Link/fierce deity and adult link are twins, and young Link is their little brother. We keep on thinking Sky and Wild are brothers, but they're not. Sky, Hyrule and Twilight are only children. I don't think any of the Zelda's are related.

Interviewer: and what about dark link in twilight princess?

Legend: that's just Twilight in dark Link's outfit doing different poses. *Laughs*

Pokémon Adventures B2W2 HCs 4

The finale took two weeks to complete including repeated takes and Ghetsis’ broken ribs.

Ghetsis had to be measured without his cloak so the bind used during his arrest scenes didn’t crush his ribs.

Hana’s Purrloin was not allowed to take part in Ghetsis’ arrest scene because he kept singing raunchy pop music at him to make him break expression, N was mortified with him.

Both Ghetsis’ arrest scene and Hana getting her Purrloin returned were filmed at the same time, which is a callback to Ghetsis’ plan and Hana recieving her Purrloin during the prologue was filmed at the same time, according to Whitley/Rosa, Hana requested it to represent the start and end.

Whitley/Rosa’s speech towards Ghetsis took three takes, she struggled to yell at Ghetsis, even telling others because he wasn’t really mean to her even though his relationship with other actors was poor

Hugh’s face when he saw his sister’s Purrloin was real as he didn’t know the Liepard ending that was in the original B2W2 games was cut out, only Ghetsis, the Team Plasma extras and Hana knew about it, Ghetsis was fairly vocal about wanting her to have a larger role.

N was accidentally struck too hard during the frigate explosion scene, Ghetsis actually feared he left N blind in one eye that day it was done.

Leo’s Deino wasn’t originally supposed to evolve, he evolved into Zweilous off set.

Hana being wrapped in Elesa’s coat wasn’t actually in the script but it was freezing due to the cold weather.

Colress ended up catching a cold during Episode 547 but continued it because he didn’t want to slow others down.

Rood and Gorm made everyone warm drinks, they also had concern in case the binds on Ghetsis were too tight.

The first arrest scene nearly lead to Ghetsis cracking his ribs as a mechanism failed the first time, the second time because Ghetsis forgot his speech and the third time because Whitley/Rosa forgot hers
